ABOUT JAWAI
Jawai forms part of the Aravalli mountain system, among the oldest mountain ranges on Earth. Alongside, the Jawai Dam and its reservoir bring a striking contrast to this otherwise arid country. The waters attract abundant birdlife and support crocodiles, while the surrounding hills and scrub provide habitat for leopards, hyenas, nilgai, chinkara and other wildlife.
