Choose the length
Start with the number of nights you have available. Two nights allow a full day between arrival and departure; three or more leave more room for several drives and a flexible pace.
Choose your base
Stay planning can range from local homestays to five-star properties. Confirm the specific property, room category, meals and transfer arrangements in the itemised quotation.
A suggested three-night stay
Use arrival day to settle in. Keep the next two days for a mix of morning and evening drives, with birdwatching or a cultural visit where it fits your interests. Depart after a relaxed breakfast on the fourth day. The number of drives is agreed in your quotation; this example is not an all-inclusive offer.
What to confirm before paying
Ask for the dates, vehicle capacity, safari sessions, meeting point, inclusions, exclusions, taxes, payment schedule and cancellation terms in writing. Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed.
Questions before you travel
How much does a Jawai Expedition cost?
It is customised. The number of days, guests, private drives, accommodation and transfer requirements determine the quotation. There is no fixed published expedition price.
Does a longer stay guarantee more sightings?
No. Additional drives give you more time in the landscape, but cannot guarantee a leopard encounter or any particular photograph.
Can I focus on photography?
Yes. Share your subjects, equipment and preferred pace so the team can discuss suitable drive arrangements. Confirm any specialist guiding requirement separately.
Are stays and transfers included?
Only if stated in your written quotation. Check the named property, room type, meals, arrival pickup and departure transfer before confirming.
